The Jake takes the practical versatility of our original roper and dresses it up for the elements. A full-length treaded Vibram rubber sole provides both grip and grit. The Jake’s soft, water-resistant bovine leather wraps the entirety of the boot for protection from rain and muck, all while maintaining the clean lines of a dress boot. It makes for a comfort you’ll want to put on every day.
Water-Resistant Bovine
The Jake is our first roper dress boot to feature a treaded, Vibram rubber sole and is wrapped from top to toe in water-resistant bovine with weatherproofed seams. Beyond that, it has all the hallmarks of a dress boot—stacked leather heel, ¾ Goodyear welt construction, and a cork footbed.
Traditional Roper
A classic roper, The Jake has a round toe, 10” shaft, 1 ⅛” straight heel, and timelessly minimal detailing. Subtle cording embellishes the scallop of The Jake, while its vamp is left clean so that its water-resistant bovine can shine.
